Arrived at Ferring early to mid p.m. and the tide was still well out and a few windsurfers out were on big (6m) sails. Bum!

It looked windy enough for a 5.5 so I went for it with the Skate. As soon as I hit the water I realised it was plenty. Had a good sail with some small waves and became increasingly overpowered. Should probably have rigged the wave gear which I had hoped to use all along but I was tired from yesterday so I quit early and had an enjoyable drive back over the downs.

A pretty good if short session.
